What is going on with Home Sales in Kingston, Ontario?
Year over year home prices have fallen however we are definitely seeing trends that indicate that the pricing in our market is levelling out.
Homes for Sale/Listings – Spring is here and new listings are up- almost 27% from February but the total inventory is up by only 6% so sales are increasing.
Buyers – Move-in ready homes in good locations are selling quickly and in many cases in multiple offers. Pre-inspections are a great way to minimize the number of conditions buyers have on offers. For first-time home buyers homes that are considered fixer-uppers or maybe on busy roads can be good options for buyers to get into the housing market.
